Identify which IP right may apply to a logo, product appearance, technical feature or listing photograph.

A suspected imitation can raise several independent questions. For a name or logo, establish the trademark holder, scope and sign used. For appearance, identify the protected design and compare the relevant visuals. Türkiye can protect registered and unregistered designs subject to the applicable requirements. For a technical feature, identify a valid patent or utility model and compare the claims with specialist input. For a listing photo or original copy, establish the work, ownership or permission and the actual use. A shared function, visual resemblance or absence from a dealer list alone does not settle the issue.

Consider a fictional thermos listing with a familiar logo, similar body and catalogue photograph. Open separate reviews for the sign, appearance and photograph. Examine any technical claim separately. Copying a photograph does not prove the delivered product is counterfeit.

Record the country, channel, variant, date and original URL. Check licences, permissions, genuine resale and relevant exceptions. Separate observations, missing information and decisions. A platform action is distinct from a competent authority’s infringement assessment.
